THE PURPOSE OF MUSIC VIDEOS AND WHY THEY ARE STILL RELEVANT AND IMPORTANT IN THIS GENERATION. This is my research on the purpose of music videos. Music videos started to become a thing in the 1980s as a short film, it eventually developed into something more, it became a form of art, a way for an Artist to express their ideas and creativity and bring out an imagery that further explains their idea and passion behind their songs, this became a very fun and great thing for the audience as a music video can change their whole perception of what a song is about. Genre

Genre Genere is a way for the industry to Market films and categorize them, and give the audience choices to choose from, It means type. Types of Genre are Action, Horror, Thriller and Sci Fi, some genres are not considered to be genres as a whole but rather sub-genres, they are Comedy Drama and Romance. Generic  conventions are is recognisable, they are a way of engaging audience. Some media texts are hybrid genres, this means they share the conventions of more than 1 genre. Example of a hybrid are the Twilight films, it combines Horror, Teen, Fantasy and Romance. A Cross-genre, also called Cross-over, is a genre in fiction that blends themes and elements from 2 or more different genres. Iconography is the images and Audio audience expect to see in a particular genre, Like an iconography of Horror will be creaking sound, Screaming, Loud pitch sounds, Dark lighting, abandoned houses and others. An outline of my film magazine and its purpose, my target Audience, Production Cots, Distribution Place, Contents of my magazine. Film Magazine Outline/Purpose The  outline of my magazine is simple. My Film magazine is a modern day magazine created or meant to fit in with the style and way of the new generation of millennials, its main purpose is Entertainment, providing great and suitable entertaining contents. The film magazine's main content is the American/British film Industry, but it is focused on 3 main parts which is Movies/Tv  Style/Fashion and Gaming. This is because my Target Audience is teenagers and young adults and they are influenced and interested in all 3 things.
